More Ticket and Radio Rumblings

The Times and Post both weigh in.

We've already done the ticket stuff.

They both claim that WJFK 106.7 FM is the favorite. That would create the unique situation of having an FM station actually have more sports programming than the AM sports station. And it would give WTEM even more of an excuse to ignore the Nats as they contemplate which Tight Ends to go with.

I wonder, though, how the reduced coverage area would affect marketing. I know that WJFKs signal varies dramatically around the region from alright to downright crappy. And the further you get away from Fairfax, the less easy it will be to pick them up.

With a wide network of affiliates--there's no word on this yet--that could be overcome slightly. I wonder how that will affect marketing.

Further, the Times article points out that the Nats would get bumped late in the season for Redskins coverage. That won't be a huge problem, because there simply aren't THAT many conflicts, only one a week for the last 5-6 weeks of the season.

The Post also confirms the Eliott Price rumors again, Eh? (Let's not start that up again, hosers!)
