More Radio Rumblings

From DCRTV again:

DCRTV hears rumblings that Elliot Price, who did radio play-by-play for the Montreal Expos, will be doing the same for the team this year. Although the team is now known as the Washington Nationals.

I hope Elliot isn't playing on broadcasting in French. Habla espanol a posisible? Viva HFS!

MLB Eyes A DC AMer For Nats, WTEM Still A Possibility - 2/8 - Despite what today's DC Post claims (see the newsblurb immediately below this one), we hear that Clear Channel and its SportsTalk 980, WTEM, are still in the running to land the DC Nationals. "MAL and JFK want the games but both have programming trouble. TEM is still in the game," a well-placed source tells DCRTV. "As is always the case, it is all about the cash. And since Major League Baseball is involved, they know and want an AM (station) if possible. As of now, the Nats would be the only team in baseball with a FM flagship station if they went with JFK. That is not to say they won't take a deal from Infinity, it just makes things a bit tougher".....
