Apropos of nothing, i went by the Nationals downtown store today to check it out, and like so many other things in this pre-season, i was highly disappointed. The thing is hidden inside the Washington Square bulding, (i walked by the O's store, which has an outside entrance twice looking for it), and is the size of a small shoebox. A booth in the RFK concourse sells more Nats gear than this "store". They had hardly any shirts there, it was dark and depressing and to top it all off, the lone guy working the counter was a dick. I realize it's a new store and all, but imo it looks pretty cheap. If you're not going to have a decent Nats store, why even bother having one at all? Rant over (stay positive, stay positive...)

A propos of MASN, I hate it. As bad as it is to hear orioles ads on the Nats' radio broadcasts, it is even worse to see so many o's ads during shared games on MASN. I hope it sinks into the Chesapeake, so the Nats can be free to build their own network.Kevin C.

Bitter rantings by a sometimes-analytical fanboy who loves the Washington Nationals, even though you probably can't tell 3/4 of the time.
