Carol Schwartz, who probably deserves as much scorn as anyone on the Council, sums it up best: "I still hate this deal, but I do like baseball and would like to see it here... We're sort of stuck with it."

Meanwhile, Boz writes today, chipping in with reaction from the players, and his belief that the Lerners were in the lead. My favorite line might be this one, though:
