Another Data Point
That they may not be as cheap as they once were? They're rapidly moving up to senile ol' grandma who pays you 50 cents when you mow her lawn territory, I guess.
Of course after this many years of profit-taking and the Strasburg attendance windfall, I don't feel too much sympathy for the Lerner great great great great great grandkids.

Wait until Harper signs to make any proclamations about their cheapness....
Oh, and SIGN DUNN NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(ok, you can sign Dunn a little later in the week after Harper's signed)
Oh, and Crawford wouldn't hurt either...

If Rizzo can complete the quad (Harper, Solis, Cole, & Ray), the draft-board side looks pretty sweet.
I tend to believe that the Lerner group has just been slow in understanding the economics of baseball, rather than overly 'cheap'. Finishing up the draft signings & getting Dunn under contract would help immensely in more fans seeing it that way as well, imo.

No, Chris. Uncle Teddy, Markie Mark and All Those Grandkids would pay you a nickel to mow. And they'd want you to edge the lawn and bag the clippings for them.
