So, Anything Good Happen Today?

I enjoyed Coco quite a bit, thank you.  Though when he played the White Stripes song (what the hell's its name... I'm blanking), I thought my chest was gonna beat out of its chest.  [ed: later... finally came to me as I watched the replay on MASN: "Seven Nation Army"... the same song Strasburg came to the plate to.  Must've been divine intervention by His holiness]

What'd I miss?

Sigh.

  • You missed a heck of a thrashing of the Orioles by the Yankees. Oh, I almost forgot. Stephen Strasburg struck out 14 Pirates with 96 pitches, including the last seven batters.

  • I mean Conan was good. I was entertained -- even with only a token appearance by the Masturbating Bear -- but, yeah. I feel totally gypped.

  • The worst part is that inbetween innings Strasburg did the entire Conan tour routine, even singing "I will survive" after he left the mound the final time. All while sitting on an ice toilet.
