The Washington Nationals today announced that Vice President Dick Cheney will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the team's Home Opener on April 11, 2006 at RFK Stadium.

I suspect that having Dick Cheney there is exactly going to help sell the remaining tickets that are still available for opening day.
