Your Work Here Is Done, Mr. Davis
From MASN's interview with the charismatic Stephen Strasburg:
"It is still too early. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch. I am taking it one day at a time. Every single day is a new challenge. It is a good opportunity to get in best shape of my life. Honestly, I feel like I am heading in the right direction."
AEEEEEIIEIEIEIEIEEEEEAAAAAARGHHHHHHH!!!!
That Crash Davis Crash Course really paid off.

I'm 90% sure MASN was interviewing a mannequin dressed as Strasburg with a tape player taped on the back.

Trite, but at least he didn't say:
"Oh man, it hurts like hell! It feels like my arm has rotted & fallen off! I can't tell you when I last woke up and didn't pray I'd never have to pitch again (at least for the Nats)!"
Then, between long alternating hits on a jewel-encrusted bubbler bong and an engraved sterling silver flask of Jägermeister, a freshly tatoo'd Strasburg mumbled:
"Anyone wanna join me in getting really f'd up?"

We'll know the training was 100% when we here SS broke his LEFT hand in a bar room brawl.
