I've been long pondering a return trip to Fenway (I went when I was 10 years old), and following the Nats up there may well be the incentive I need to finally do it. I can cheer for the Nats, and tell all the Boston fans around me "See how annoying this is?"
Going up to the Yard is a must, indeed.

I think exceptions can be made in rare cases. Sometimes you have to live with the enemy to beat the enemy.
If you really don't want to line his coffers, visit the no-scalping zone. That way, the tickets have already been purchased, and none of your money is going to bastard, but it is going to help those whom he's victimized.
Also, I think we can all do without food or beer for three hours on a weekend, right? Consider it to be Baseball Lent.
