Hendrik Hertzberg, who is a very good writer but hard to read because he's very partisan forcing you to decode everything he writes, has a tough but fair look at L'Affaire Du Soros.

Even if you don't like the political angle, it's a good read, especially because you get to see something the vaunted New Yorker fact-checkers screwed up.
