GameDay: El Gran Caballo Edition
El Gran Caballo trots to the mound prepared to half-ass his way through as much of the game as he can with his typical assortment of offspeed fastballs, eephus curveballs, and wiffle-ball-quality slop.
The Mets counter with Tom Glavine, the scourge of Mets Fans Everywhere. Some have told me that this Glavine person used to be good.
(Of course the last time I said that, he shut us down!)
With a little luck, we won't have cleanup hitter Carlos Baerga again tonight. Lightning can't strike two games in a row, can it?
