The Pennant Is Ours!
That's some quality slumming, Omar!
Bitter rantings by a sometimes-analytical fanboy who loves the Washington Nationals, even though you probably can't tell 3/4 of the time.

This is smart thinking!
Between Johan Santana and Armas Jr. that's 250 innings of league average pitching!!!

Maybe Omar's next signing will be Damian Jackson.

I'm torn. This means Armas may well pitch against the Nats in one or more games I watch this season. On the plus side, there's a better chance I get to see a Nats win. On the minus side, though, it means I'll have to sit through yet another interminable Armas pitching performance.

actually, you probably wont see him pitch against the nats in any games this season. Because unlike the nats, the mets have a starting rotation of ACTUAL major league pitchers. Armas will be the 8th or 9th starter and only see the majors in emergency situations.
