  • This is smart thinking!

Between Johan Santana and Armas Jr. that's 250 innings of league average pitching!!!

  • Maybe Omar's next signing will be Damian Jackson.

  • I'm torn. This means Armas may well pitch against the Nats in one or more games I watch this season. On the plus side, there's a better chance I get to see a Nats win. On the minus side, though, it means I'll have to sit through yet another interminable Armas pitching performance.

  • actually, you probably wont see him pitch against the nats in any games this season. Because unlike the nats, the mets have a starting rotation of ACTUAL major league pitchers. Armas will be the 8th or 9th starter and only see the majors in emergency situations.
