Inquirer To Guillen: Go To Hell

Well, maybe he wasn't that harsh, but that's the NY Post version of the Nationals Inquirer blurb about our man-child, Jose Guillen.

Along the same lines, Distinguished Senators had a look at Frank Robinson and his whole role in the fiasco. His is worth the read too.

I'm going to let them do the heavy lifting for me. Their views are essentially my views.

  • Yeah, you're not going to get much of a defense of Guillen from me here. I'd read the Inquirer piece I linked to. He's pretty harsh on him, but he's also accurate. Guillen acted like an ass. There's no disputing that.

And I know what you mean about the Guillen thing.

A month or so ago they picked up his option for next year, along with trumpeting how he's turned over a new leaf, and all that. Blah blah blah.

It makes no sense to me why they'd do that when the guy's so volatile.

I root for the guy to come through, but I don't particularly like him.

And, I suspect, his teammates aren't particularly fond of him either. But, that's just baseless speculation mostly.
