Veni, Vidro, Vici
The Times has a profile on the Nationals' All-Star second baseman, Jose Vidro.
I've written about Vidro before. He's the team's best player, but has some serious questions surrounding his health, and how that's going to affect his already-eroding defensive skills, especially as his contract runs through 2008. But, that's to worry about later.
Despite his injury, Vidro remains positive.

I'm happy now because things have turned out great," Vidro said. "Look, we've got great uniforms, we're going to play in the States. We've got a great team, and they went out and made this team better than it was last year. What more can I ask for?"Hopefully he'll give Nationals fans some things to smile about too.
