Stadium Design??
NBC 4's news story about the Metro money for the stadium has a picture of a stadium that I haven't seen before. It's not labled, but it does sort of fit in with what the descriptions of the design have been. Could this be our first (inadvertant) look at the new stadium design? Or is it a generic stadium, or just a random design someone threw together?
If it is our design, it gets a thumbs up from me!

Beloved commenter Carl notes that the file name on the pic indicates that it looks like it's a 2003 file photo. If so, hit the X on the top right of your browser and forget you've ever heard of me. ;)

Nice find!
That's either a serious homer perch in right or a legit poke to get it out down the line in left . . .
The look sort of reminds me of Yankee Stadium, in a way, though of course you'd know more about that.

Lookit that URL. "2003/0509."
Pictures on NBC 4's Local News page have the likes of "2006/0207" in them, which looks a lot like "February 7, 2006."
I think it's a file photo from almost three years ago.

Did you see the mouth-breathers over at DCist bitching about the design. (Those same mouth-breathers, mind you, who don't even want the stadium built; I don't see where they get a say.)
